ENMAX Power is responsible for recording your electrical use and reporting this monthly to your retailer in select regions in Alberta.
In the City of Calgary, ENMAX Meter Readers are also contracted to read and report on water usage for the City of Calgary Waterworks. This means our meter readers are reading both your electrical and water usage when they visit your property.
ENMAX Power also supports Cardston (electrical and water), Ponoka (electrical only) and Red Deer (electrical only) with their meter reading program.
For sites that record peak demand (150 kVa or greater) twice in one calendar year are read through interval meters. Readings are provided in 15 minute intervals through phone lines or wirelessly.

Submitting a Meter Read
You can submit your own personal reading of your meter to help verify your use if: you are moving in/out of your home, or you need to provide a monthly read (e.g. ENMAX Power Meter Reader was unable to access your meter).
NOTE: Concern over high consumption and billing related concern must be discussed with your retailer.

Send a photo/call
Send a clear photo of your meter with the reading to meters@enmax.com
Phone option (alternate): Call 403-662-3250 and leave a voicemail with your name, address and reading number.
