Underground residential development (URD)

The URD model is an efficient and collaborative model for developers and builders with projects that require underground joint trenching. ENMAX Power acts as a project management consultant, representing the four utilities (ENMAX Power, ATCO Gas, Rogers and TELUS) working together to provide services for all new residential subdivisions. Through the joint utilities trenching process, all underground residential facilities are now placed in one trench rather than two.
